It was an insightful interview as the hit making producer shared timeless principles of success. He shared of how he moved from Lagos to South Africa, how he got his first break in South Africa with Universal Music and How he had to come back when God began lay it in his heart to come home.

Born, raised & bred in Lagos, Nigeria. He was supposed to study medicine at the University of Lagos as planned & agreed with his late father. After the father passed on, he realized that MUSIC is his PASSION,LIFE & FOUNDATION. So, the journey started way back in the 90’s as the curiosity arose strongly as to how MUSIC is made and the technicalities behind it.
He started out as a studio apprentice who never did any practical, then later was on internship with another fast rising studio in Lagos around 2001-2002.
In the course of his bright career, relocated to South Africa where the career then received more light and found expression. In South Africa he ran a make shift studio in his bedroom until one day he recorded a demo for a female artist who took it to Universal Music and they so loved his work that they immediately engaged him. Wilson joel has since become a force to reckon with in africa, asia and europe..his versatile abilities in various genre of music are impressive ranges from jazz, folks, hip hop,soul, RnB,Gospel,Afro,Pop and more. He has also worked with Sony BMG in South Africa.
His production skills are highly sorted after by clients around the worlhis productions skills are highly sorted after by individuals, musicians, marketers, Dj’s corporate organisation, Movie industry gurus, Politicians as well as Government Dignitaries both at home and abroad…
His experience is not limited to one angle of music, he also has extensive skills in film scorings which he started years back, he featured in one of the biggest, selling fast movies in south africa where he scored music for the entire film.
He is a creative director.
