Let’s talk about How to Walk with God. The reality of this world is that everything we do has consequences. This is no different when it comes to walking with God. The question is, are we walking with God every day, or is life compartmentalized with other priorities and activities?

Walking with God in a daily lifestyle is the best way to enjoy both the blessings of God in this life and the promise of eternal life. Walking with God in daily lifestyle means participating in every form of worship offered by God Almighty, both individually and corporately. It means following the commands of the Holy Scriptures, attending to the preaching and the teaching of God’s Word, and being grateful for the grace He shows us through Jesus Christ.

1. Start and End Every Day With God in Prayer

Our God is an awesome God! He is our creator, our redeemer, our provider, our protector, and our Redeemer. He is our constant help in times of trouble, especially for situations when we need God most. His presence can be felt and sensed; His presence can be felt and sensed.

You have the control to walk with God daily. You have the power, the knowledge and the authority. But unless you start, you will not end. You have to know the formula and walk according to that formula. Begin and end every day with God in Prayer. Find a place and time where you can walk with God.

The vital role prayer plays in the walk with God cannot be understated. It is the key ingredient that allows God to open doors and help align our response to the opportunities He allows. The tremendous rewards offered in our relationship with the Lord— Peace, Joy, Fulfillment, Purpose, Understanding, Increased Sensitivity, Clarity, and Impact to name a few—are things we dare not miss if we are serious about walking as Christ walked.

2. Know What Is and Isn’t Important

As Christians, we desire to walk with the Lord and receive the intimacy He longs to grant us—but it can often feel impossible. Unfortunately, many Christians simply misunderstand God—especially when it comes to His love. Many think that God only loves us when we’re perfect—or when He’s feeling particularly nice. However, Scripture makes it clear that God’s true heart for us is love.

When we think about walking with Jesus, we imagine Him walking beside us, guiding our every step. But walking with Jesus does not start and end with feeling His presence. In fact, there is something more important about walking with Jesus than feeling Him. We, as created beings, were created to walk in freedom and away from the power of sin. Therefore, the most important thing in walking with God each day is to recognize our need for Him and to depend on Him.

Place Spiritual Boundaries in Your Life

Every human life has value to God. It is our responsibility to treat others with dignity and respect. Any attempt to violate others will, dignity, rights, and freedoms harm them and hurt God’s creation. The prophets and all humanity are victims of abuse and injustice.

God’s gift to us is the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit’s real desire is for our whole life to be enveloped in the peace and presence of God. But the devil wants nothing more than to blind us to his presence and prevent us from walking in the power of God. As much as we need God, Satan wants to reject God. To walk with God in your daily lifestyle, you need to be filled with the Holy Spirit, and to do that, you need to make a conscious effort to guard your heart.

Read and Meditate on Scripture

Reading and meditating on Scripture helps you walk with God in your daily lifestyle. Living a life of obedience and relationship with God. The Bible is filled with stories and examples of people who walked with God and walked in a Godly lifestyle. The Bible is the word of God and is God’s truth. And God’s truth is key to living a Godly lifestyle. It helps us live our lives in obedience to God. Living a life of obedience is a lifestyle of walking closely with God.

The Bible is God’s guidebook to living life faithfully. It calls us back to paths of righteousness and shows us how we can draw closer to Him through repentance and obedience. The Bible is God’s perfect instruction manual for how to live life, how to apply His principles to our lives, and His constant love for us.

Remember You Are an Ambassador for Christ

Our daily walk with Christ goes so much further than mere duty. Our role as ambassadors for Christ is God’s plan for us. As ambassadors, we are intended to represent Christ, be a voice for God, and be bold advocates for His kingdom. We must always conduct ourselves with honour and humility as one practising obedience.

Christians have a noble calling. We represent Christ in everything we do-our actions, our words, our attitudes, and our lifestyles. We are ambassadors for Christ and as a result, we have a responsibility to represent Him well. While we are not perfect, we are striving to do it the best we can.
