Renowned producer, Christian music artist and songwriter whose musical career spans over two decades, Israel Houghton has unveiled the cover art for his soon to be released album, ‘Road To DeMaskUs’.
Likewise, in addition to that, the six-time GRAMMY AWARDS winning chart topper also lunched the album’s second single titled, Promise Keeper, featuring Travis Greene. A song that recognizes the steadfastness of God as a promise keeping God.

‘Road To DeMaskUs’ is set to be released in September and will be available for pre-order from September 7th. The album captures the biblical tale of Apostle Paul’s experience of transformation.
The spelling of Damascus as ‘DeMaskUs’ is a conscious exhibition of the artist’s creativity to encourage the removal of the “mask” that people wear in life to hide their true identity, struggles or feelings.
Whether you are masking your authenticity or emotion, Houghton in this album is keen about reminding you that the love of God for you is not based on who you are or what you can do, rather is based on unconditional love. He loves you just as you are even if you’re not deserving of His love.
Last Month Houghton also announced the Road To DeMaskUs Tour, which will kick off on the 27th of September. The tour will begin in Chicago and make stops in twelve cities including New York City, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, and Detroit.
The much-admired singer received a GMA Dove Award nomination for Spanish Language Album of the Year as a producer for Lucía Parker’s, Revive, recently.
