Jekalyn Carr Honoured at the 34th Annual Ascap Rhythm & Soul Awards

At the 34th Annual ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Music Awards in Los Angles, CA, 22-year-old Jekalyn Carr was honored as one of the top songwriters and editors of the most accomplished ASCAP songs of the past year in its genre. The singer-songwriter who had been nominated for 3-Time GRAMMY was honored for her Billboard # 1 radio hit “You Will Win,” which spent six weeks on top of the charts. Carr also performed a spirited performance of “You Will Win.” The 1500 or Nothin’ Band backed her. On June 21-22, Carr hosted her 2nd annual You Will Win Conference 2019 at Orlando FL. You Will Win 2019 was a great success to be part of, this inspiring and life-changing gathering with attendees traveling from across the country.

Special guest includes; Willie Moore Jr., Rickey Smiley, Bishop Paul S. Morton, JJ Hairston, Maranda Curtis, Koryn Hawthorne,* and, to name a few, Tim Bowman, Jr. To name a few, You Will Win 2019 workshops provided subjects such as The Marketplace, Employment, Entrepreneurship, Skills Management, Social Media, and Family & Faith.

At a sold-out Honorary Gala, Jekalyn Carr was also honored, celebrating her recording, ministry and philanthropic work to date. The 2020 conference will take place in Atlanta, GA. More information will be coming shortly.
