LOOK INWARDS

“And she said unto her mistress, Would God my lord were with the prophet that is in

Samaria! for he would recover him of his leprosy.”
(2 Kings 5: 3)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

Naaman’s healing began when he got strategic information from the Hebrew maid in his
home. Through that maid, Naaman learnt about the possibility of his healing. Through
the maid in his home, he got strategic information that turned his life around. He
got what he needed in his own home.

Friend, God says, what you have will connect you to what you need. Some contact you
have now will open the doors that are shut against you; the skill you have will be
the platform for you to earn a decent living; there is a word from God that you have
heard already that will answer the questions in your mind; there is a knowledge at
your disposal that will make a huge difference for you.

Look inwards and you will see great deposits in you that will connect you to your
next level; look inwards and you will see the great ideas, skills, abilities,
visions, prospects, etc that will take your life higher; look around you and you
will see abandoned opportunities that will distinguish you greatly; look inwards and
you will see the seed that will birth your increase and continuous congratulations.

Naaman got information about Elisha through the Hebrew maid in his home, and rather
than overlook it, he took action and got his healing. He didn’t look down on what he
had within and around him. Don’t look down on what you have at your disposal; don’t
underrate your ideas, skills and abilities; don’t imagine that what you have within
is too small.

What you have at your disposal may be small in your eyes, but if Jehovah is
involved, it will be a platform for great things to happen.

Pray With Me: Lord, open my eyes to see what I have within and around me that will
distinguish me, in Jesus’ name!
