The much-anticipated Shade Oshoba’s new single, ’Eni ni Jesu” has finally hit the airwaves amidst pomp and ceremony with friends and fans of the Apala gospel diva flooding social media platforms with their thoughts and outlooks for the new song.
Shade Oshoba is a passionate worshipper committed to restoring hope of the broken-hearted through soul-lifting songs and her new single “Eni ni Jesu, (lo lohun gbogbo)” meaning: Whoever has Jesus, has everything.
The Song features Pastor Kunle Ajayi, the RCCG Intercontinental Music Coordinator and minstrel of Pastor E.A. Adeboye, the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Worldwide.
According to the praise/worship minister,
“Eni ni Jesu” is an outgrowth of her thirst for lost souls and the craving to bring them back to God, adding that her wish is to win one million souls for Christ with the new song.
“Eni ni Jesu” is birthed out of the passion for the lost souls and the desire to bring them back to the saving grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It is an evangelical song and it is my desire to use this spirit-filled tune to win over a million souls for Christ,” said the minstrel.

Shade Oshoba began her musical career in Abeokuta in 1998 as a worship leader and later co- founded The Celebrity Band, a renowned musical band in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State. The band was distinguished for unique and outstanding music performances in churches, house warming, wedding ceremonies and other occasions.
“While growing up I knew someday, I would yield to the call as music minister, so I surrendered myself to the leadings of the Holy Spirit for inspirations and He has never failed. I have written over 40 songs and produced about 35 but none of these songs has gone in the dimension of “Eni ni Jesu”. I believe the song is given to reinforce Jesus’ thoughts in Matthew 16:26 and 6:33. The soul of everyone matters to God and what do you profit if you have the world to yourself and your soul is heading towards destruction? Our wealth, beauty, strength and personalities will fade away someday. Therefore, this song is to get the attention of everyone to pause and retrace path back to God.” She added.
The winner of the Applause Achievers’ Awards who was also nominated for TAVA Awards and Gospel Mega Awards studied Industrial and Labour Relations at Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun State has about three albums to her credit: Awesome Praise 1 & 2 and “Angeli Ori Ile”. These songs are inspiring and are available on YouTube and online stores.
She is married to Paul Oshoba, a television producer, video director and a social media consultant. They are blessed with godly children.
