About Ken Oleka
Kenneth Oleka was born in Lagos Nigeria into a Christian home, with a
deep classical background from the Anglican Church, being a member of the diocesan choir, became a pianist at an
early age, led so many choirs both home and abroad, a communicator, a composer, pianist, singer and a
lover of God. He is also a minister in the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
He is inspired by gospel ministers like Donnie Mc Clurkin, Fred Hammond, Don Moen,
Tye Tribbet, Sonnie Badu, Ron Kenoly, Kirk Franklin, Kirk Whalum, Corey Henry, Cece Winans,
Nathaniel Bassey, Mid Nite Crew, Benjamin Dube, William Murphy, William McDowell, Tamella Mann and Onos.
After some years of playing classical jazz music, an encounter with God gave him a
new impression of what God can do with your music, be it in high praise or in slow mid tempo worship,
‘stay focused’.
