After a successful 1st EP titled JE ME RAPPELLE (I remember) released in early 2020, successful singles and clips such as “Je me rappelle”, “Dans Ta Présence” (In Your presence) and “Na Pesi” (I gave), the Congo-Belgian singer Noémie KB is back at the dawn of summer, with a colorful Afro-urban title entitled “Te donner” (Give You), which promises to make you dance all summer!
“Te donner” is the first single from his new EP NKB STORIES scheduled for this year 2021.
A video clip was also shot during his humanitarian trip to Kinshasa in the DRC, to support the ASBL Sema foundation and its orphanage. “Te donner” an evocative title which speaks of the gift of oneself, on this single Noémie testifies to her dependence on God and wishes to encourage Christians in this direction: “Rom 12: 1 to 2 speaks of giving oneself alive as a sacrifice to God, for my part, I use the gifts that God has given us for Him, in everything I do in my life. It is impossible to give one’s own life to God without sacrificing one’s own life, I want through this song to bear witness to my dependence on God and to encourage Christians in that sense “. Explains the young singer.
Regarding the video, the values put forward are the praise through dance, but also family communion: “The Lord asks us to redeem time, because unfortunately lost time cannot be recovered. Of course, we are at His service, but it is also essential to take care and spend time with our family.
We have lived through difficult time of Covid where some loved ones have left us … God wants us to have quality family time with our family”. The last value put forward through “To give yourself” is obedience: “We must stop wanting to talk too much, negotiate with the Lord, we must know how to stop so that the Holy Spirit fills us to do his work”.
This catchy song, “Te donner”, written by Noémie K.B herself, composed by Jérémie Mbuta Maiten and arranged by Asaiah Wala, is well on its way to be part of the Afro-urban hits of this summer 2021!
