Spoken word artist Propaganda created a new video that explains the gospel in five minutes, and it’s going viral. He started with God the creator and ended with Jesus our Salvation.
Listen as he shares “the greatest story ever told that’s hardly ever told.”
Jason Emmanuel Petty (born May 27, 1979), better known by his stage name Propaganda, is an American Christian hip hop and spoken word artist and poet from Los Angeles, California.
He has released four albums as an independent artist and one collaborative album with the rapper Odd Thomas, and has performed and recorded as a member of the underground hip hop group Tunnel Rats and associated act Foot soldiers.
Underground, Jason “Propaganda” Petty, grew up a fish out of water. Born black in a mexican neighborhood. A poet and artist in the midst an alpha male urban environment. When his family went suburban, it got no better. Now he was the poor black kid in the all white neighborhood.
In addition to his hip hop career, Jason Petty has worked as a youth pastor, led a poetry team called Selah, and helped his sister’s dance ministry called “Live.” In 2013, he partnered with I Am Second in hosting a poetry contest, Spoken Word Challenge.
