THE ENCOUNTER 2015 LIVE AT YABATECH, ENCOUNTER is a non-gated outreach event targeted towards the young at heart, believers and unbelievers alike (usually comprising of
Tertiary Institution students). It is organised by GiG Time, a ministry for
Christians in the Performing Arts headed by Pastors Diran and Olufunmi Olajoyegbe.
This year will be the 8th edition of the event.
Over the years, ENCOUNTER has featured ministers like Bouqui, Pita, Proverbs, Rooftop Mc’s, Spirit of David and
many more.
Encounter has a yearly theme attached to the main brand name, this year the theme is
‘The Exchange’ taken from 2Corinthians 5:21.
This event edition will feature Music, Dance, Spoken Words and Various competitions
(including but not limited to rap battles, miming, tongue twisters, bible quiz
etc.). The high point for us at this event is Soul Winning, bringing more people to
the awareness of the saving grace of our Lord Jesus and encouraging them to channel
their energies to positive endeavours.
