Rev. Dr. Obiora Ezekiel, the General Overseer and Senior Pastor of Christian Pentecostal Mission International is dead.
He died at the age of seventy- eight years.
The announcement of his death was publicly done today at about 10 am by the Church Management. The Church management will continue to give updates on his burial and any relevant information.
Rev. Dr. Obiora Ezekiel is survived by wife, Rev. Dr. Mercy Ezekiel (the National and International co-ordinator of Christian Pentecostal Mission), Children and a grandchild.
Upon God’s calling into ministry, he came to Lagos in 1954. His ministry became known for deliverance. As a Distinguished Christian Leader, He is a Founding Father of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN). He is a well-known Evangelist holding crusades with miracles and testimonies.
He had a PhD in Theology, Authored many books including GOD’S BATTLE AXE, PURITY OF PRIESTHOOD, IN THE HEART OF THE FATHER and many more.
Late, Rev. Dr. Obiora Ezekiel displayed intense desire to save as many souls for the kingdom, as he frequently tells his audience that he would drag them to heaven. He was a man of integrity, transparency and discipline.
