NO DESTINY REDUCTION

“And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment:”
(Matthew 9: 20)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

Luke 8 vs. 43 reveals that the woman with the issue of blood spent all she had, without being healed by the doctors who took her money. She had money, but in the course of her problem, she moved from having plenty to having nothing. She moved from wealth to poverty; she moved from a higher level to a lower level; she had just one challenge, and her destiny was reduced.

Friend, God says, your destiny will not be reduced. Your destiny won’t suffer retrogression or recession. You won’t move from being useful to being useless; you won’t move from relevance to irrelevance; you won’t move from wealth to poverty; you won’t move from being employed to becoming jobless; you won’t move from prosperity to stagnation.

For that woman with the issue of blood, her wealth belonged to the past. She could only speak of the days when she still had money before her health issues swallowed up her money. God says, your best days will not be in past tense. Your days of relevance, greatness, influence, etc will not be in past tense; your best achievements will not be in past tense.

God says, your best is yet to come; your path will shine brighter and brighter. Instead of being reduced, you will increase on all sides; instead of being demoted, you will be promoted; instead of becoming poor, you will become richer; instead of slipping into obscurity, you will rise into more visibility. Your destiny will experience increase.

That woman with the issue of blood met Jesus after her destiny was already reduced. Don’t wait till you have already suffered losses before you give Jesus His rightful place in your life.

Declare With Me: My destiny won’t be reduced, in Jesus’ name!
