DELOIS MASSEY Wins The 2017 International Christian Film Festival Music Video of the Year Award For “WARRIOR”

The 2017 International Christian Film Festival (ICFF) was held May 4-6 in Orlando, FL with thousands from around the globe in attendance. The ICFF screened 165 feature and short films, documentaries and music videos in three days from the more than 500 films from 40 countries that were submitted.  Of those submissions, Gospel singer Delois Massey rose to the top with her music video “Warrior”.
Delois Massey took home first prize for The 2017 International Christian Film Festival Music Video of the Year Award.  “Warrior” is the first single from Massey’s forthcoming album GRATEFUL which will be released this fall via Nashville based multi-genre label AfterTouch Music.
“I am excited as well as humbled by winning this award,” Massey shares.  “I pray that people are inspired and encouraged by the message of this video, as it continues to minister to us and remind us that we are Warriors!”
“Warrior” is a majestically orchestrated battle cry with a brilliant clash of contemporary gospel, symphonic strings, rigid electric guitar and urban dancehall tones.   “Warrior” is musically produced by AfterTouch Music CEO Roger Ryan and Michael Gaines, and features the bristly bravura vocals of Christian Reggae artist Dunamis.
The award winning video was directed by Robert L. Poole and produced by Brandon Hirsch. Poole and Hirsch creatively delivered a visually gripping and emotionally provoking music video experience.  Their production work captures the essence of Massey’s talent and passion for music and the message of the strength and authority we can possess through Jesus Christ.
