American group ELEVATION RHYTHM is stepping out with their latest single, “WALK ON WATER,” which released Friday on all global streaming services and social platforms.
“WALK ON WATER” is an energetic track that could find itself in a church worship service, a fun TikTok dance challenge, or on a Christian pop playlist. “WALK ON WATER” is available now.
The message of “WALK ON WATER” is taken from the biblical passage where not only does Jesus walk on water, but so does Peter.
Davide Mutendji, lead vocalist and one of the writers of the song, says:
“When we’re faced with big challenges or moments of uncertainty, we can get weighed down with where to start.
I love this song because it reminds us that God will be with us – all we have to do is take one step at a time,” .
“What started with just a drumbeat in a writing session, has now become a really special song for our church in this season,”.
Following God requires us to focus on the steps He’s calling us to take, even when the wind is against us.
ELEVATION RHYTHM is the sound of Elevation YTH, the youth ministry of Elevation Church, a multisite congregation based in Charlotte, N.C. and founded by lead Pastor Steven Furtick.
The newly formed music group is a part of Elevation Worship Records and shares the same church home as Elevation Worship.
ELEVATION RHYTHM believes in writing and recording songs to engage the hearts of a new generation. Their song, “Never Walk Away,” claimed the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Christian Music Hot AC/CHR chart.
ELEVATION RHYTHM can be found performing at Rhythm Nights, an event that attracts a large teen following, both locally and online.
