EXCERPTS FROM CNN AFRICA INTERVIEW WITH SINACH

SINACH

Nigerian gospel singer and songwriter, Sinach recently shared some nuggets with Nigerian-American presenter Stephanie Busari representing CNN Africa in an interview with Sinach.

The interview was conducted via video call and it started off immediately with talking about the effect of the internationally acclaimed song, “WAY MAKER” on the global community especially at a time when the world is dealing with issues like the pandemic as well as issues of racism and police brutality, particularly in the United States.

Much of the interview was centered around the success of the song WAY MAKER, seeing as it has become the global anthem of hope for dark times particularly in countries facing a really difficult time.

In talking about this, she shared that she was excited to see what had become of a song that she received from God in her room, and which was a personal reassurance, now becoming a global testimony.

In the interview with CNN Africa, she was asked to also comment on the issue of racism, and police brutality in the United States, one of the places were the song has been widespread and she had this to say:

It’s unfortunate, what’s happening all around us right now, but as God’s children, we can’t give up hope. God knew this was coming and that was one of the reasons why he sent us WAY MAKER, to remind us of our faith and hope in God. And the best way to tackle this situation is to continue to show love. Love conquers all.

She wrapped up the CNN Africa interview by hinting at the progress of upcoming projects including an unreleased song which she titled “WE WILL WIN” as well as another album. “I’ve been writing. I’m working” she said. So we expect something from her soon.

She finalized things by giving a beautiful rendition of the “song of the moment”, WAY MAKER. Watch the video here below:
