Former Nigerian beauty queen and foremost events manager as well as wife of Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, and founder of the Ibidunni Ighodalo Foundation, Ibidunni Ighodalo, passes on to glory.
The news broke yesterday, Sunday the 14th of June 2020 and has since become a trending topic across social media and news platforms.
According to reports, she passed on around 2am on Sunday, 14 June, 2020 resulting from a cardiac arrest in her hotel room in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.
BRIEF BIO OF IBIDUNNI IGHODALO
Mrs. Helen Ibidunni Ituah-Ighodalo, was born on the 19th of July, 1980 in Oyo State, Ibadan to the family of late Olaleye Ajayi family.
Ibidunni, studied Microbiology at the University of Lagos, Akoka, before she further got training in Business Management from the Lagos Business School.
She was a Fellow of the National Institute Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN).
She became a beauty queen 22 years ago when , as a University undergraduate she emerged as the winner of the Miss Lux beauty pageant, at the age of 18.
Years later,in 2007, she got married to the founder and senior pastor of Trinity House church, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo whom she remained married to until her passing. The marriage experienced childbearing issues which later birthed the Ibidunni Ighodalo Foundation.
After having undergone In vitro fertilization (IVF) over 10 times, in her efforts to have and bear a child, Mrs. Ighodalo received inspiration to help others during her wait. The result of this was the Ibidunni Ighodalo Foundation which helps provide the opportunity to couples seeking help with childbearing, to get treated and improve their chances of having children.
Mrs. Ibidunni Ighodalo was also an entrepreneur, founding and heading Elizabeth R Events, which has been dominant in the events management and events decoration business in Nigeria. The events business has firm ground both in Lagos and the FCT< Abuja. The beautifying of Lagos with lights during the Yuletide season was contracted to her.
It is no doubt that Mrs. Ibidunni Ighodalo was indeed a gem with monumental impact on everyone around her. It is our prayer that her soul rests in peace and God comforts those she left behind.
