Last night was the 11th day of the Hallelujah challenge online movement by Nathaniel Bassey and last night saw the participation hit approximately 50,400 participants, not including families that are all joined in on one device. Even the Nigerian music celebrities were not left out as the likes of Tiwa Savage, Donjazzy , Dbanj, Toke Makinwa, Funke Akindele, Uche Jumbo and Cohbams Asuquo and others were spotted lifting up Jesus Christ. This might have adversely affected the very consistently Lagos weekend night life as night club goers commented.
Motivational speaker and life coach Jimi Tewe commented on the way celebrities have participated. In a post on Instagram mentioned the -;

Numerous testimonies are already emerging from the past few nights. A guy got a car his has been looking to have Just like that! We have no doubts that even Pastors and government officials in Abuja will soon join. 50,000 is a huge fit but people are already clamoring for 100k participation. We pray it get to that. About the Hallelujah Challenge
The Hallelujah Challenge started on the 1st of June 2017 after the initial 30 days One hour Tongues challenge which didn’t gather a lot of dust like this one. The hallelujah challenge is a midnight hour praise,worship and prayer online-meeting taking place on Instagram on gospel music minister Nathaniel Bassey’s Instagram handle @nathanielblow. According to him. God gave him an instruction to start it. It’s only going to last for 30 days according to him. The online meeting has so far garnered more than 50,000 participants and is still growing.
