Marvin Sapp Drops New Album – Chosen Vessel

Gospel music icon Marvin Sapp is set to release his live recorded 13th solo album named Chosen Vessel October 9th 2020. Recorded at his new Fort Worth, Texas church, The Chosen Vessel Cathedral, the album is his first live album since 2011 and the first recorded in his new home city.

Featuring his trusted musical friends Aaron Lindsey and Myron Butler to handle production and vocal production, Sapp has created an album that has a classic feel to it, but also a refreshing sound and lyrics that will uplift and encourage in the unprecedented times we are living in.

“The running theme of Chosen Vessel is understanding that every person possesses value and worth,” says Sapp. “Regardless of what we are going through, we have to remember that when God chooses you – His plans for you are going to come to fruition.” 

Leading Single off ‘Chosen Vessel’ Album “Thank You For It All” Hits Top-5 on Hot Gospel Songs

The first single, “Thank You For It All,” was written by Marvin Sapp along with Jarmone Davis, Christopher Thomas Leach and Aaron Lindsey, and is currently #4 on Billboard’s Hot Gospel Songs chart. It is Sapp’s 12th Hot Gospel Songs Top-10. “Thank You For It All” also peaked at #1 on Billboard’s Gospel Digital Songs sales chart. Other highlights on the album included the captivating “Undefeated” and the edgy “Praise Everyday” that exemplifies Sapp’s signature “churchy-but-funky” style.

Sapp to Host Live Virtual Release Event 10/9 at 7 p.m. CST
