News : Justin Bieber Being Too Religious?

Pop singer Justin Bieber’s latest album has been banned from some countries for being too religious and too provocative.

According to TMZ, the artwork on the cover of the Purpose album has been rejected in several Middle Eastern countries, as well as Indonesia—which are predominantly Muslim.

The album cover features a shirtless Bieber with a tattoo of a cross on his chest.

The young pop star recently said that he wants to “live like Jesus.” Bieber, who has has his share of scandals in recent years, said he’s making changes in his life and wants to use his voice for a higher purpose.

In a tell-all interview with Complex Magazine, Bieber shared that Jesus was his salvation in the midst of trouble and he wants to live like Jesus.

“He created a pretty awesome template of how to love people and how to be gracious and kind. If you believe it, He (died) for our sins,” Bieber said.

“We could take out all of our insecurities, we could take away all of the hurt, all the pain, all the fear, all the trauma,” he said. “We have the greatest healer of all and His name if Jesus Christ. And He really heals.”

TMZ reports that Bieber’s team is set to replace the cover with a redesigned image for the countries that oppose it.
