Nigeria’s premiere Gospel DJ, DJ Gosporella and Gospel Fuji Artiste, Mike Abdul stormed the city of Ota on Sunday 10th of June to inspire Gospel Aristes in Ogun State. At an event tagged; Ogun State Music Ministers Conference organised by Gospel DJ X One, the two guest speakers stressed the need for Gospel Artistes to carve a niche for themselves.
In his remark, founder of Gosporella FM,DJ Gosporella made it known that the Gospel Music Industry is a Ministry and as such, only those who are called by God should operate in that ministry. He further stressed the need for Music Ministers to invest in their craft and shun pride.
Mike Abdul who was the first speaker to speak dwelled on how to be successful as a Music Minister. He drew inspiration and reference from how he started with the Midnite Crew while they were in Yaba Tech. He encouraged upcoming artistes not to give up.
According to the “Korede” crooner, “those who call you for ministrations today without giving you a dime,will call you years later and beg you to accept hundreds of thousands as honorarium. Just be dilligent and upgrade yourself” he said.
