New Music: “Onye di ka gi”- EQUATION 1 [@equation1tt]

EQUATION 1 is a Nigerian contemporary Lagos-based gospel music group comprising of two siblings, Ikechukwu David Ugwu and Ukamaka Faith Ugwu respectively.  Their vision is to trigger a movement of selfless worshipers and die-hard Christ followers through the Ministry of Music.

This duo have graced various platforms as praise and worship leaders for the past 15 years. In September 2012, they officially formed a group called GENESIS and released their debut single titled “Chukwu Idi mma”, a traditional dance hall groove. This was immediately followed up by a music video shot by Wilbart Ignition in March 2013 which has over 2500 views on Youtube with little or no promotions

In September 2016, they were inspired to change the group’s name to EQUATION 1 based on a deep rooted conviction that GOD alone is the 1st and only solution to the challenges of mankind.

The highly talented duo are also excellent songwriters with the capacity to infuse various characters and styles into their lyrical concept while maintaining the originality,this trait gave birth to “Onye di ka gi”
