Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has been appreciated by President Muhammadu Buhari for its prayers for the success of his administration during the programme that was organised by Young Adult and Youth Affairs of the Church under the theme, “Agent of transformation.”
The programme which was organised by Young Adult and Youth Affairs of the church was a programme that showcased lots of adults in various performance and style used in praising and worshiping God for His goodness and mercies through the year.
President Buhari made the commendation through the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Mr. Okechukwu Enyinna Enelamah, at the October 2017 Holy Ghost Service/Annual Youth Convention of the church.
Buhari urged Christians not to stop praying for the development and betterment of the country.
He said: “We bring greetings from the President and the entire people of Nigeria.
“We want to assure you that what you are doing in the church by praying for the success of this administration matters to this nation and God Almighty will continue to answer our prayers.”
The General Overseer of the church, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, speaking at the event, emphasized that the country has been facing some challenges but reassured that there was light at the end of the tunnel if Nigerians persisted in the place of prayer.
