The expansive premises of David’s Christian Centre located in Lekki, Lagos State will come alive on Sunday, July 10th, 2022, when popular worship leader, song writer, music minister and music director Michael Iregbena Ekundayo better known as Psalmist will headline the much anticipated ‘God Is Able’ gospel concert.
The worship experience which will kick off on Sunday by 3:00 pm will feature other exciting gospel music acts like; Beejay Sax, Ayo Vincent, Dare Justified, Blessing, Pita, Folabi Nuel and Nosa among others, while (hosts) Pastor Kingsley and Mildred Okonkwo will minister to guests at the bespoke event.
According The Psalmist, his purpose is to declare the unfailing word of God through his music ministration, worshipping God in spirit and in truth and leading souls back to God.
‘‘Worship is a life style through which God must be given the undiluted and authentic praise and glory that He deserves.’’ The Psalmist told Naija Blog Gist (NBG).

The Psalmist is a graduate with Master’s degree MBA in Strategic Management(UK), Post Graduate degree in Business Management (UK) Certified Prince2 Practitioner in Project Management (UK) Certified Business Analyst (UK) B.Sc. degree in Sociology and Anthropology (OAU, Nig).
The Psalmist demonstrates his underlying belief of staying true to who and what you are in Christ through his dynamic, inimitable, highly dedicated and anointed transitory- pattern of worship. Hence, creating passion- filled and heart- warming moments of worship with God, the father and orchestrator of good music.
Over the last 3 decades, the Psalmist has served the body of Christ selflessly in various capacities with the music ministry in his local church and other congregations in Africa and in Eastern and Western Europe, and continues to do so to the eternal glory of God. To his calling, it’s always a great honour and privilege to be called to stand- up and lead God’s children in the art of spiritual intimacy where true worshippers come to a full revelation of God’s overwhelming presence and manifestation. And in an atmosphere saturated by the awesome presence of God Almighty, testimonies abound, healings to God’s congregation, burdens are lifted, yokes are broken and the name of the Lord exalted forever more, Amen.
Michael Iregbena Ekundayo the Psalmist won the Best UK Gospel Touch Music Award 2018 in the UK with his popular Praise debuted Single, So Glad. He also has his 2nd Single feat. Gabriel Eziachi titled Final Say which will certainly be a blessing to you as it has blessed and still blessing lives.
