Video review : MojubaRe – Florocka

I woke  this morning to the video of Florocka for the song Mo Juba Re…Though not one his very big hits but its a song that is very insightful and ministers to the listener. ‘Mo Juba Re‘ is a Yoruba phrase meaning I worship you.  It is a song of worship, praise and adoration.

Watching the video, I was impressed by the clarity, the simplicity, the sereneness the calmness of the video, despite all the rock music instrumentation in the song; the barley field, the house and the kids, Flo on the white piano and all. Judging by the rock vibe of the song, I would have been expecting some rock video elements like guitars and a band with some crazy dressed musicians and some frenzied movements and gyrations, but then again its gospel, it worship and Florocka is Flo D’Rock star. Sincerely the words of Flo’s music are powerful, he definitely is a great song writer, but when he said ”I will teach my children of you”, my mind went straight to his family and his wife and the whole drama that happened some time back. But then again, we are humans and we progress in knowledge and understanding with time.

*Drum beat* brrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. Time to score the video. , we score the video 40/100 . We wanted to see more but instead all we got was a repeat of the three scenes.
