Seven-time Grammy winner Carrie Underwood returns with a new album of gospel hymns out now, My Savior.
Joining NBC’s TODAY live, she said
“I got to go into the studio to sing these songs that are so hopeful and so peaceful … I hope people find some peace and comfort in these songs.”
Carrie also offered special performances of “Just As I Am” and “Victory In Jesus” from the new album on the show.
Underwood follows the extraordinary success of her recent Christmas album, My Gift, with an album of gospel hymns, titled My Savior.
My Savior is co-produced by Underwood and GRAMMY Award winner David Garcia.
My Savior, which consists of covers of traditional gospel hymns Underwood grew up singing, is a spiritual companion to Underwood’s first-ever Christmas album.
