Congratulations to GRAMMY winner Chris Tomlin and his wife Lauren who welcomed their third child into the world on Monday, December 14, 2020.
Tomlin told PEOPLE Magazine:
“Isn’t she lovely … Isn’t she wonderful … Elle Grace Tomlin has arrived to our world and we couldn’t be more grateful,” ,
“She is precious and beautiful. Babies are miracles. Lauren and I are counting our blessings and soaking up our little ‘miracle of love.’ Time seems to stand still at the moment.”
Elle is welcomed into the family by older sisters Ashlyn (9-years-old) and Madison (6-years-old).
Tomlin shared in October that his wife’s surprise pregnancy announcement inspired his new Christmas song.
“I was starting to write music for this Christmas project and as I sat down the concept came so quickly. Christmas is about celebrating a gift from God, a surprise child for Joseph and Mary, a true ‘Miracle Of Love’.
For me, it is another gift to be able to write a song about the surprise of our third baby girl and the parallel story of the birth of Jesus. As a songwriter, I felt so inspired and loved how each line of the song could have a double meaning.”
