GRAMMY winning artist Chris Tomlin lands his 17th career #1 single this week as “Who You Are To Me,” featuring Lady A, from his #1 album Chris Tomlin & Friends, reaches the top spot on Billboard’s Christian Airplay chart.
The song was written by Chris, Charles Kelley, Dave Haywood, and Hillary Scott of Lady A. Chris shared with Billboard’s Jim Asker:
“I’ve always said there are good songs, great songs, and God songs,” . “When Hillary, Dave, Charles and I sat down to write, “Who You Are To Me” basically wrote itself.
Now seeing how the song has grown so quickly and how it is impacting lives it is clear that this is one of those God songs.
Personally, this song is so meaningful for me and I am so grateful to radio for the love and support.”

Chris and Lady A will appear on the Grand Ole Opry’s Saturday, November 21 broadcast to perform “Who You Are To Me” as well as many of their own hit songs.

“Who You Are To Me,” which has garnered more than 18 million global streams, has become Chris’ biggest single since the release of the GMA Song of the Year “Good Good Father” in 2015.
“Who You Are To Me” is one of 13 tracks on Chris Tomlin & Friends which features Chris with Lady A as well as superstars Florida Georgia Line, who also executive produced the album, Thomas Rhett, Russell Dickerson, Chris Lane, RaeLynn, Cassadee Pope and Brett Young in addition to Bear Rinehart of NEEDTOBREATHE, Blessing Offor and We The Kingdom.
The album debut at #1 on Billboard’s Christian Albums Chart, #5 on Billboard’s Digital Albums Chart and #9 on their Top Current Albums Chart. “Who You are To Me” and “Thank You Lord” from the album also hit Spotify’s US Viral 50 chart.
Chris released a new Christmas EP on October 9, Miracle Of Love: Christmas Songs of Worship, revealing the music and the inspiration behind the project exclusively with People Magazine.
This November, Chris is nominated for his first-ever Country Music Association Award in the Music Event of the Year category for Thomas Rhett’s “Be A Light” with Reba, Hillary Scott, and Keith Urban.
