American contemporary gospel music group, Elevation Worship announces the release of their 11th career project with GRAVES INTO GARDENS, available worldwide today. The live compilation broke the record as the highest pre-added worship album to date on the Apple Music platform. Talking about the project, Elevation Worship’s Chris Brown had this to say:
“Our hope is that this project would help listeners find new life in seemingly dead places,” . “To be releasing an album titled ‘Graves Into Gardens’ in the middle of this global pandemic feels very God-orchestrated. Across our world right now, more than ever, we need hope that a brighter day is coming, and the faith to believe that even though there’s a lot around us that seems despairing, Jesus specializes in resurrection. He specializes in taking the old and making it new. So, I pray that people would find God in these songs. And as they do, that their mourning would turn to dancing, and their heaviness would turn into praise.”
GRAVES INTO GARDENS is comprised of 12 newly-penned tracks such as the blockbuster song “The Blessing” that is currently the highest-charting faith-based hit on digital song sales in over four years, garnering more than 10 million YouTube views in just six weeks, and “RATTLE!” which peaked at #8 trending overall on YouTube, amassing more than 1.5 million views since it released two weeks ago.
A number of special guest vocals and writers round out the project including the title track’s (“Graves Into Gardens”) lead vocal from Bethel Music’s GRAMMY nominated Brandon Lake, who is also credited as co-writer on the song, an appearance from GRAMMY nominee Tauren Wells on “Never Lost,” and a co-writer and guest vocal appearance from Kari Jobe and Cody Carnes on “The Blessing.”
