G.O Defrauds Members of 500 Million,says its just 180 million only

Enugu state command says it has apprehended a self acclaimed Bishop,who’s name is Ginika Obi. The said man of God has been arrested by a police command at Enugu for defrauding his members of 500 million Naira.

The General Overseer of the City of Liberation and Comfort Ministry,who is in the police custody was arrested after he was trailed to an Hotel at Amechi Road, off Agbani Road, Enugu.

According to The Guardian, the supposed ‘Bishop’ Obi had used his non-government organization, named: ‘Build Your Generational Organization’ to allegedly swindle his church members of different amount of money giving the hope that they would get a return on investment after a while.

The church which enjoyed lots of activities last year,as members trooped in from all angle due to a situation or another,then he lured them into his supposed financial helping platform.Members thinking they would reap in a double fold as he as told them,trooped cash into it,cumulatively 500 million nair.

The supposed Bishop,after defrauding his members,whom they have no receipt to prove for it,then left Enugu for Asaba. According to the statement released by the spokesman of the police command in the state, Ebere Amaraizu.

Ginika Obi left with his wife and eight other pastors of his church whom they both carried out these act seeking refuge at anywhere possible,after he had noticed people had already lodged complains to the police command and he was being trailed by the police form.

After months of a successful hide out by Bishop Ginika Obi,he ran out of luck as parliament investigation discovered he had relocated to Asaba to seek refuge. Unknowingly to him,he was trailed to an Hotel at Amechi Road off Agbani Road in Enugu.He was trailed based on intelligence information over the weekend and was nabbed by the police force.

Bishop Ginika Obi’s said in a statement after being arrested;

the amount i defrauded was not up to the sum of N500 million but N186 million. While regretting his action.

The victims told News Agency of Nigeria that the bishop had defrauded them of various sums of money and disappeared.All they want is their money refunded and justice served.
