Ooni of Ife relinquish Royal Seat for Pastor Adeboye

God takes over Ooni of Ile-Ife Royal stool.

Pastor Adeboye

General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Pastor Adeboye visited the King of Ile-Ife, Oonirisa Adeyeye Ogunwusi. The king, in his bid to show his belief that God is greater than all kings, decided to offer the highest royal chair to the RCCG pastor. The king took the lowest seat beside the pastor while claiming there is no one greater than God.

There was reportedly a protest from Pastor Adeboye, but the king insisted the pastor can have his seat. The Ooni reportedly insisted that Pastor Adeboye was representing God in his palace, hence deserved the greatest seat.

Pastor Adeboye, shared a few words with the Ooni and also prayed that God will help and guide the Ooni and the Kingdom of Ife.
