We can now say authoritatively that Pastor E A Adeboye has stepped down as G.O for Nigeria. In a thanksgiving service this morning, the announcement was made that he is stepping up to become the General Overseer Worldwide and his position will be filled Pastor Joseph Obayemi who has been the deputy in charge of Finance and a member of the governing body. He also used to be the Pastor in charge of Region 2 RCCG.
Pastor Adeboye is now the General Overseer RCCG worldwide and will not be directly involved in the affairs of the Nigerian churches.
This is a sequel to our initial story which stated the story as “Unconfirmed”. It is official now that Pastor Joseph Obayemi is the new General overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Nigeria.
I pray as God as walk with daddy Adeboye God will also go with daddy Obayemi
Sign of good leadership from a great man of God. Baba Adeboye is proving that Christ’s church is bigger than an individual vision. May the Lord bless His church and be with His great servant
