STREAMS OF JOY DEVOTIONAL – YOUR TIME IS HEALED

“And the king said unto me, (the queen also sitting by him,) For how long shall thy journey be? and when wilt thou return? So it pleased the king to send me; and I set him a time.” (Nehemiah 2: 6)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

In our Focal Scripture, Nehemiah made mention of how he set a time for the king with regard to the rebuilding of Judah. The word ‘set’ as used in that scripture comes from the Hebrew word ‘nathan’. One of the meanings of the word ‘nathan’ is ‘healed’. So Nehemiah inferred that his time was going to be healed. It would appear that the time of Nehemiah was sick, wounded, and in need of healing.

Friend, when your time is wounded, time will progress but you will have no progress. When your time is wounded, instead of making gains with time, you end up with huge losses. When your time is wounded by the enemy, it works against you. When your time is wounded, it becomes fruitless and tasteless. When your time is wounded, the things that should work for you find a way not to work for you.

Today, I pray for you: may the Lord heal your time. May your days be healed by the Lord. May the Lord bring back the sanctity and purity of your time. May the Lord bring back the fruitfulness of your time. May the Lord halt every cycle of loss that has invaded your time. May the Lord cause every unfruitful time in your life to be recompensed. May the Lord cause your time without opportunities to be recompensed.

You will not bleed in your time. There shall be no loss in your time. You will not suffer pain and disgrace in your time. You will not be left empty handed with the passage of time. You will not be reduced or extinguished as time ticks away. You will not be a victim of your time. You will not be a loser when you reckon time with achievement. You will not be counted among those who simply got older with nothing to show for it.

Ask God to heal your time. Ask God to remove every negativity that is planted in your time.

Psalm 31: 15 says: “My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.”

Declare With Me: My time is healed, in Jesus’ name!
